SVID respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and have implemented procedures for copyright owners to report alleged infringement.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on SVID infringes your copyright, please provide our designated agent with a written DMCA notice containing the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple works, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL(s) or other specific location(s) on SVID.
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name constitutes an electronic signature).

Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith beliefthat the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address.
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and inform them that we may restore the content in 10 business days unless they file a court action seeking to restrain you from the allegedly infringing activity.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, SVID has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the platform and/or terminate the accounts of users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.
Fair Use and Legitimate Use
SVID recognizes that the use of copyrighted material for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research may be considered fair use. We evaluate each DMCA notice individually and consider fair use defenses.
